Matched vs. Crossed

I haven't read Reached yet, but I've read Matched and I just finished Crossed yesterday. In general, I'd say that Ally Condie was reasonably successful in creating a good piece of literature. However, this series kind of goes between two different types of stories so far. It seemed like Matched was all about structure and control, but Crossed (my favorite so far) was more of what I was looking for. I just felt like there was a lot more going on. If you haven't read Matched, it's a lot of talking and daily routines, but Crossed seemed to have what most dystopian novels do... There was more action and adventure, although these books are pretty predictable. I definitely preferred Crossed, but both of them are pretty good. (Plus, they're quick reads, so if you want something to read in less than a week, depending on your reading level, this book can help with that too.)
