The Different Faces You Will Make When Reading Clockwork Prince

This book will send you through more mood swings than those weird sleeping medications you get from people you probably shouldn't know. These are most of the faces you'll probably end upi making at different parts of the book! Just imagine, "And then I was like!" in between each of the pictures!

My Top Ten Books of All Time

Everyone has their favorites, and I'm no different. Take a look; you might find something that sounds interesting!

1. Fire, by Kristin Cashore: It was super cool! It's really about a monster-girl who is beautiful enough to have the power of mind control. It sounds a little cheesy, but I promise it's actually really good!
2. Graceling, by Kristin Cashore: A companion to Fire, about a girl with an incredible gift of fighting skill. She goes through a lot in this book!
3. Bitterblue, by Kristin Cashore: A sequel to Graceling, ten years later, about the young queen who faces the damage her evil father left behind as king.
4. Rot and Ruin (Series), by Jonathan Maberry: I'm not going to list out the whole series for this one, but it's about a boy and his bounty hunter brother, who live in a small town surrounded by wilderness and zombies. That's right, I said ZOMBIES.
5. Clockwork Angel, by Cassandra Clare: Amazing story of a seemingly regular girl, who stumbles upon a secret world of Shadowhunters, and discovers her own otherworldly power.
6. The Mortal Instruments (Series), by Cassandra Clare: A secret world of Shadowhunters has been right under Clary's nose her whole life, but she'll only see it when her mother is taken by a demon.
7. Divergent, by Veronica Roth: Five different factions, five ways of life. Beatrice has to choose between the safety and simplicity of her home faction, or the daring adventure of a new one.
8. Days of Whine and Ruses, by Robert Farrell: This outstanding description of male superiority and political downfalls, while I may disagree with the belief, gets you thinking in whole new ways. If you don't mind some swearing, it's definitely worth the read.
9. Anna Dressed in Blood, by Kendare Blake: A ghost hunter gets a horrifying greeting from one of the most powerful ghosts he's ever seen. Anna kills everyone who enters her house, but for some reason she lets Cas live.
10. Before I Fall, by Lauren Oliver: This one probably should have been higher on the list, but it's about a girl who has to relive the day of her death over and over again. She goes through several emotions and events as the days go on. (This one's really good!)

Family Rings

I'm in the process of reading Clockwork Prince, and I keep seeing references to different family rings. I thought it was really cool so I did some research to find the character's rings as well as my own. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Top Ten Best Reading Moments

1. You know when you put the book down on your lap, and when you pick it up again, it just doesn't look quite right? That's because it's upside down genius.
2. That one time you experience #1 and try to read that way for about two minutes before you realize you're kind of acting like an idiot.
3. When someone walks in on you trying out #1 or #2 and it's one of the most gauche moments of your entire life.
4. Trying to read when someone is playing really loud, really obnoxious music, and getting more frustrated than you thought possible.
5. When your eyes start to cross you've been reading for so long, and someone points it out to you.
6. Pretending you have no idea what this blog post is about while knowing you've done at least one of these things.
7. Trying to read upside down simply because you felt like it and giving up after about ten seconds.
8. Being constantly interrupted by life and barely getting to read one sentence in a whole ten minutes.
9. Skipping over a word in a sentence then having to read that whole phrase over again because it doesn't make any sense now.
10. Losing your page... Enough said.

City of Bones vs. Clockwork Angel

Okay, I only need to read City of Lost Souls, and then I'll have read the entire series, but I also read Clockwork Angel, and I've been hearing a lot of debate about which series is better.

Let me start by giving short reviews of the Mortal Instrument Series:

Ctiy of Bones: Totally awesome! I'd definitely recommend this book if you like fantasy even a little bit. Every page made me want to keep reading to the next one; I was a little sad when it actually ended.

City of Ashes: If you didn't like the first one, I beg you to still give this one a chance. It gets better, and if you liked the first one, you'll absolutely LOVE this. More mental torture! (But in a good way that makes you want... no NEED to keep reading!)

City of Glass: Okay... so this one gets a little slow, but I promise if you push through the first half, it gets A LOT better.

City of Fallen Angels: Wow... This book hits you like a train. Total plot-twisting, maniacal, hilarious, heart wrenching awesomeness!!! I fail to see any other way to word this.

Okay... now that we got THAT out of the way, I get to talk about the Infernal Devices Series! I've only read the first one, but Clockwork Angel left me dying to read the next one! If I had to compare it to City of Bones, I think it'd be a hard one to call, but Clockwork Angel was a little better. Read them all if you don't believe me!

WOW

If you're wondering why it took me so long to update my blog, I'll tell you. If you're not... you don't need to be on this page anyway. I ended up forgetting the e-mail address and had to basically hack my way back into it, but now we should be all good as far as posting goes!

Thinking about using a necklace like this for the cover of my book... Of course, there would be other things included and changed, but it fits well with the story. There's an excerpt from my story on this blog too.  I'm open to suggestion though!
